About Us

The Hinckley Fencing Club was founded in 1960, we are one of the longest established fencing clubs in the Leicestershire area. Currently we have 18 members, aged 16 years and upwards.

We charge £4 per club night and an additional £1 if you use the club kit, plus an £18 yearly membership fee. We also require our fencers to join the British Fencing Association.

Because we want you to be sure that Fencing is the right sport for you, we do not ask members to pay the yearly membership fee or join the British Fencing Association immediately.

We require our members to be at least 16 years of age to join. We have fencing kit which we will gladly let beginners use at a small charge of £1 per session, so there is no initial expense buying equipment.

Above all, fencing is fun, and you will find it an invigorating and relaxing experience.
